JPG compressie onder Linux

Weet een van jullie een programma waarmee je onder Linux .jpg foto's kleiner kan maken, het moet wel text-based zijn, want het is een oude bak en er is geen X op geïnstalleerd.

Dus simpel een programma voor .jpg compressie, text-based. Ik heb er naar gezocht, maar niets gevonden wat ik zoek.

faster by avoiding returning full-resolution images to ImageMagick for

OK, ik ga dit topic toch sluiten, want dit is toch ook wel te vinden lijkt me.

Als ik google: linux jpg tool command line dan krijg ik als eerste link deze: http://www-106.ibm.com/de...ibrary/l-graf/?ca=dnt-428

Daar staat het zelfs goed uitgelegd hoe het werkt.
