Geen antwoord op de topicstarter, maar het gaat wel over hetzelfde bakkie.
Ik zit hier met een haperende Sony MHC-2800 mini hifi-setje van 10 jaar terug (minimaal!) zonder cdspeler en taperecorder (beide hebben het begeven) en mét 80 watt 6 ohm boxen (dus tuner + receiver + boxen). Dit alles is aangesloten op een lawaaige PC met AMD 2200 processor, met 40 gb harde schijf, 512 mb, en ATI 9600 videokaart en onboard geluidskaart.
Nu kijk ik wel eens naar een nieuw hifi setje, maar nu kwam ik de Asus S-presso tegen. Nu heb ik deze barebone bestudeerd met de kennis die ik heb en vroeg ik me af of dit een geschikte aankoop voor mij is.
Dit apparaat staat voor 300 euro op de pricewatch. Of gaat dat tegen vallen?
Wat voor extra kosten moet ik maken wil ik die espresso hier in mijn kamer hebben staan? Voor zover ik kan opmaken uit de specificaties 'slechts' een P4-processor. Dus 300 (s-presso) + 215 (P4) maakt 515 euro. Klopt dit?
Belangrijkste is dat ik mijn muziekcollectie fatsoenlijk kan afspelen (liefst in betere kwaliteit dan nu) en films, internet en spellen als fm2005 en pes4 kan draaien. that's it.
Of zijn er handiger alternatieven. Mijn hifi setje van de hand doen, evenals de boxen en daar Creative speakers of iets dergelijks voor in de plaats doen bijvoorbeeld (mis ik wel een tuner). Zijn die speakers van tegenwoordig trouwens beter dan de boxen die ik nu heb?
Zomaar wat vragen.
