[WINXP] Dell icoon uit startmenu verwijderen

Ik wil mijn Dell icoon uit mijn startmenu verwijderen. Hoe kan ik dit het beste aanpakken. Ik heb via google en got geen informatie over registertweaks gevonden.

There are two ways to remove the "DELL Solution Center": in the Start
Menu properties, or, bye the hard way, editing the Windows registry.

1. Right click on a Start Menu free place, select Properties, select
Start Menu tab (in the top), select Personalize button, clic on
Advanced tab (top), scroll down the Start Menu elements list, look for
the Manufacturer Link element, and uncheck the box near it.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS OPTION (i don't know why). Follow this

My PC\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\

look for a key called: "Start_ShowOEMLink", double clic it, and set
the value to 0. (cero).
If the value doesn't exist, create it, Edit, New, DWORD Value.
Name it: Start_ShowOEMLink, press Enter, and give it the 0 value
(cero).

NOTE: be careful when editing registry.

Aditionally you can copy the following, name the file "Something.reg",
double clic it, and merge the values into the registry.
