Gaaf hoor, nou nog een echt OS erop zoals Windows Mobile of Symbian. Alleen zo jammer dat die toestellen gelijk groot en lomp moeten zijn, dit zie ik ook zo vaak bij die FOMA-toestellen. Overigens zag ik in Utrecht een grote poster bij de Vodafone van die Sharp 902, maar toestel was nog nergens in de winkel te vinden.

Heb em in mijn handen gehad. Hij lijkt ietwat aan de grote kant maar het valt op zich mee (vergelijkbaar met SE S700i, iets dunner). Prachtig beeldscherm, prachtige foto's (beide beter dan de toestellen nu op de markt).
Het design moet je van houden, persoonlijk vind ik dat et wel wat heeft. Lijkt gewoon veel op een digicam.
Qua specs is het sowieso een toppertje.

The Phone House in Utrecht heeft een dummy liggen van de Sharp, ik vond hem best groot.... Maar ik weet niet of ze hem verkopen. Dat heb ik niet nagevraagd...

Bij de Vodafone citypoints is het toestel al heel redelijk leverbaar, erg gaaf ding. Vooral het scherm springt eruit. Het draaimechanisme lijkt me ook solide.. ben namelijk al aan het trekken begonnen aan die dummie die we hebben en hij is nog steeds heel.

Vodafone kennende zitten er waarschijnlijk weer allemaal beperkingen aan het toestel.

Zo hebben ze bij de oudere sharp gx-30 bluetooth kreupel gemaakt. En ook het MP3-deel willen ze ook vaak aan rommelen. (DRM e.d.)
Weet iemand hoe dat met dit toestel zit?
En kunnen er ook filmpjes gemaakt/afgespeeld worden?

weet je, dat is precies hetzelfde ook bij mij. Deze phone heeft een Japanse look! En dat maakt hem zo mooi! Maar jammer dat er geen OS (windows/symbian) op zit...

Een 5 megapixel digitale camera + een kleine telefoon bij elkaar zijn nog kleiner dan dit Mega-apparaat. Erg jammer want een 2mpix camera in een telefoon is opzich wel leuk.

Ik ben vandaag even bij Vodafone Citypoint geweest.
Hij is, zoals verwacht, redelijk aan de grote kant. Maar ook weer niet te groot.

De bluetooth moet volledig werken. Dus ook bestanden overzenden e.d.
MP3 is wel weer beveiligd dat je alleen DRM-bestanden erop kan zetten.

Zijn er ook al foto's die gemaakt zijn met dit toestel ergens te vinden? Ben erg benieuwd naar de kwaliteit van de foto's.

Bluetooth is unrestricted but it lacks a FTP service so you cannot transfer files from another phone or PC to the 902. But you CAN transfer files from the 902 to an other bluetooth enabled device such as your PC or another phone with the FTP service.

MP3 player is of very high quality and the bundled handsfree is fantastic - it allows you to plug YOUR OWN 3.5MM JACK HEADPHONES into the phone!! Finally. You can use your £120 Senneiser DJ headphones with your phone as a handsfree. Seriously though - a brilliant feature. MP3 playback quality is brilliant - equal to Ipod and Muvo2.

You CANNOT set MP3s as ring tones

To sum up, the 902 is the most advanced phone on the market - thats fact. Its the best 3G phone and beats smart phones on the technical front due to it being 3G capable and having the best camera and multimedia functions - better than the best smart phone available.

Een vriendin van mij heeft deze Sharp gekocht. Echter, bij het bluetoothen wordt gevraagd op de toestelcode. In het boekje staat dat dit 9999 moet zijn. Dit blijkt echter onjuist (de telefoon zegt het zelf!). We hebben verder 0000, 1111, 3333, 1234 etc. geprobeerd. Niets werkt echter. Heeft iemand dit ook meegemaakt of weet iemand de juiste code?

Is er iemand die weet of het mogelijk is om bij deze telefoon gedownloade Java games te starten vanaf de SDkaart? Ik bedoel dus gewoon het .jad en .jar bestand van het gewone internet halen en op de SD te zetten.

Je zou Dynafix kunnen bellen, het reparatiebedrijf van o.a. Sharp. Dynafix flasht ook de firmware, dus misschien dat zij het weten.
Sharp Nederland/Europe hoef je niet te mailen/bellen, want het enige wat je dan terug krijgt na ongeveer een week is een mailtje met daarin dat Vodafone de importeur is en dat Sharp niet over de toestellen gaat.
