heb mijn probleem al op een engels forum gezet daarom dat het probleem in engels is omschreven.
Lately i ran into a really strange pc problem, i hope someone can help me with it.
Firstly i had a gf ti4200 and sometimes when i wanted to play counterstrike my computer crahed hmm strange, so i installed counterstrike again but same problem, but DOOM3 did still work properly. Wel so I didn't play cs for a month or so. Then i got many problems with geforce and i noticed the fan was broken. I placed a new fan on it but the card wouldn't work in my pc. But strange enough it did work in a friend's pc. Well aight i though its time for a new graphics card so i bought a gf nx6800le and i could play CS again but only for the first day. When i wanted to play CS the next day the graphics card shut down but the pc didnt crash just had no visualisation. But in opposite to the gf ti4200 this card didnt crash in windows which the gfti4200 did. But after CS also didnt work with new card i tried 3Dmark05 and the same problem when playing the 3th movie/test at highest quality.
So its strange the gf card just stops but pc keeps on going.
Things i've already tried to fix this problem are:
-Tried a zalman 500watt power supply.
-flashed mobo
-installed all latest drivers
-i have 2 x 512 mb ram pc4000 (of which one is just new 1 month old) So i tried it with only the new one in the first slot. also didnt work
-tried c:\windows\system32\sfc /scannow
- NOW IM DESPERATE
think my version of win xp aint the problem because the gf ti420 also did a good job on it before
Only thing i can come up with now is the processor.
Or my AGP slot but i don't know how to check it, maybe there is a proggie for it or so??
Maybe someone has a suggestion, thx would be appreciated very much
