[Dos Omgeving] test tooltjes als Memtest86

hier op het werk. (netwerkbeheer) maken wij veelvoudig gebruik van memtest86 om geheugen te testen wat kuren vertoont. nou heb ik de opdracht gekregen om eens op zoek te gaan naar nog wat meer van zulk soort programma's die net als memtest werken (dos omgeving en diehard testen) voor hardeschijven zijn deze er wel te krijgen. maar van bijvoorbeeld videokaart en andere onderdelen heb ik ze niet kunnen vinden.
ik ben dus op zoek naar test programma's die werken in dos omgeving en diehard het stukje hardware wat je wil testen aan de tand voelen.

Vroeger had je voor dit soort zaken PC Tools en Norton (weet niet meer hoe het pakket zelf heet) met een zaakje loopbackplugs e.d. kon je alles op je PC onder dos testen, dus ook of de com/lpt/e.a poorten werkten.

Misschien is er nog aan te komen.

dat van die dos omgeving hoeft niet zo letterlijk genomen te worden...
ik bedoel het meer in de stijl van de harde schijf tools van maxtor/wd
een bootable cd/floppy waarmee een gui word geopend die toch iets meer kan doen als een simpel dos tooltje bij bevoorbeeld de gpu
3d hoeft niet te worden ondersteunt aangezien wij dat toch niet gebruiken, maar het geheugen van de videokaart is wel handig om te checken.

Dit is echt een super tool, waarbinnen je ook weer andere zaken kan draaien. Dit is op basis van Windows PE.

Bart's PE Builder helps you build a "BartPE" (Bart Preinstalled Environment) bootable Windows CD-Rom or DVD from the original Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 installation/setup CD, very suitable for PC maintenance tasks.

It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a graphical user interface (800x600) and FAT/NTFS/CDFS filesystem support. Very handy for burn-in testing systems with no OS, rescuing files to a network share, virus scan and so on.
This will replace any Dos bootdisk in no time!
