The pinout is from an official renault dealer, as said in the topic weherof you provided the link, so you can be rather sure it's correct.

about the pins: both pin 2 and 7 are massa (ground), so they should be interconnected on the print maybe that can help you

I took the liberty to translate a piece of the FAQ for you:
Q:I took an LCD out of a cellphone/calculator/organiser/i-mode/some-other-cool-device-with-graphical-LCD. How do I connect to it?
A:You can't. The controller (if present) was industrially and specifically made for its task, custom-built. You just can't connect them.
Exception are the Nokia 3xx0, 5110 screens .....etc.

It's a kind of magic

Topicstarter, the Renault Carminat isn't exactly the same as the Renault Sagem (well, I think...) (Why would it have a different name... ;))

Carminat is the Renault Nav-System. Sagem is the supplier for the TFD-Displays.

It is not from a cellphone. It is a full RGB-TFT Flatpannel, but I can't find information about the special plug and his pinouts.
I've contact the Sagem-Group for information and Renault, too.
But I've get no answers.

My answer wasn't restricted to just cellphones as you can see. By the way, your english shows that it is not your native language. Why not give it up and start talking dutch for a change? ;)

Osiris: there are more then two countries in the world, let's not forget our friendly neighbours: Germany ;)

Leghorn:
The pinout of the screen was taken from a local Renault dealer. You might wanna try (composite)Sync on Green and reduce the resolution with Powerstrip to the native LCD resolution. For orientation of the pins, try looking at the "Not Connected" and "Ground" pins.

This is a Dutch spoken forum. If you have trouble reading some off our writing, you can always try contacting the author himself via one of the ways he provided in his Afbeeldingslocatie: http://gathering.tweakers.net/global/templates/got/images/icons/myreact.gif profile. But in this case, I recommend you look for a local Renault dealer who can assist you ánd speak in your native tongue :)
