Acer AL1703sm TFT scherm

Ik ben al een hele tijd rustig aan het rondkijken naar tft schermen, ik heb een berg topics gelezen hier op GOT.
Ik ben er intussen al achter dat ik geen 19" wil vanwege de slechte R.Time.
Of DVI een must is of niet ben ik ook nog niet helemaal uit.

Maar nu even dat ter zeide, er staat nu bij een winkel (office center) een tft scherm van acer te koop tegen een zeer schappelijke prijs van 299euro.
Nu komt het: Dit scherm kan ik nergens vinden op internet, ook niet op de site van acer.
het type is AL1703sm.
Kent iemand dit scherm en kan die mij er meer over vertellen?

Ik heb de specs even naast de andere acers gehouden, maar hij is overal net een beetje anders dan die op hun site staan.
Hij lijkt het meest op de AL1714, het enige wat daarin verschilt is de Brightness.

Weet verder niemand iets over dit scherm?

Ik heb hem toch maar gekocht, en ik zal binnenkort even laten weten wat ik ervan vindt.
Mischien dat iemand dan later nog wat aan dit topic heeft.

Weet je zeker dat het een 1703sm is en dat OfficeCenter niet de verkeerde naam gebruikt voor het beestje? Acer heeft namelijk een laptop (van dik 7 kilo ) onder hetzelfde typenummer en dat lijkt me wel erg sterk.

Ja, ik weet het zeker.
Ik heb hem nu hier staan, stond in het boekje ook en ik heb op de site van acer een manual gevonden onder die naam.

Ik heb helaas 2 dode pixels, uit het midden

Voor de rest fijn scherm, 14ms en absoluut geen last van ghosting zeer scherp beeld. En mooiere kleurechtheid dan mijn oude beeldscherm.
Dat laatse vind ik een beetje vreemd omdat ik hoorde dat dat meestal omgekeerd is.
Mischien dat mijn vorige scherm niet zo'n goede is, een NEC E700, maar ik dacht dat dat wel een goed scherm was.

Ik hoop dat iemand nog wat heeft aan dit topic, hier nog de gegevens die ik heb:

Ik kan een betje nederlandse scrijven , dus ik zal engels scrijven.

I'm also looking for reviews and comments about this TFT, but I couldn't find any reviews.
I can buy the TFT from paradigit with 215Euro, a good price I would say, but it's a bit strange that I can't find this TFT over de ACER site and also the guys in the store, either don't know or they don't want to say because I asked them, and they replied something like for this price you don't have to ask questions, just buy-it...

What is also strange is that on their website, the details about this TFT are in the Top of the page about Acer AL1703ms-2 - 17", but on the middle of the page they present the details of AL1715m - 17" . As far as I remember about the exact model AL1715m - 17", I couldn't find it on the Acer website.

Do you think this TFT has any problems? what about paradigit? I asked them about deade pixel policy and they answered that for any dead pixel they will change it, but I'm sure they don't really know what they are talking about. They seemd totally not handy, and they didn't help me at all, it's like the information on the website and they can't give me more information.

I'm searching for a normal TFT, I don't plan to play games on it, just whatch some movies. Do you think this monitor is not worth the money, and just pay more for decent quality and choose another TFT?

Ronnyy, wat Paradigit betreft: Paradigit is oké. Gewoon een goed bedrijf met nette service. 215 euro voor een 17 inch TFT-scherm is een goede prijs, alhoewel je inmiddels voor 199 euro ook al 17 inch TFT's kan kopen, maar dat is niet bij Paradigit en dus ook niet met de dead-pixel policy. Misschien heb je de wrong person getroffen bij Paradigit. Over het algemeen helpen ze je daar prima. Ik ken de producten van Acer en die liggen over het algemeen goed in prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Maar een ander voordeel van Paradigit is dat je kan vragen of je hem terug kan brengen als hij niet bevalt. Ik zou zeggen: Probeer het gewoon en als het bevalt dan hou je hem.

Specifieke ervaring met dit model heb ik helaas niet. Succes.

Ik heb hem sinds kort niet meer (verkocht), maar ik heb het altijd een zeer fijn scherm gevonden.
Geen problemen gehad behalve 2 dode pixels, maar daar had ik niet zoveel last van.
Volgens mij staan de specs van de AL1715m erbij omdat dit fysiek hetzelfde scherm is, alleen de buitenkant (plastic omhulsel) is anders.
Ik zou het gewoon doen als ik jou was, en inderdaad vragen of je hem eventueel kan testen thuis of desnoods daar.
