[brightmail] Setup problemen.

Ik ben de nieuwe Symantec Brightmail 6.0.1 aan het testen. Maar ik ondervind wat setup problemen. Ik hoop dat iemand mij kan helpen die er ook mee werkt.

Situatie:
- Exchange 2k op w2k sp4
- Brightmail 6.0.1 op w2k sp4
- Novell BM3.6 firewall

Exchange server config:
Ik configureerd de smarthost optie van de SMTP connector naar de Brightmail bak.

Brightmail bak, IIS smtp configuratie:
Op de IIS SMTP connector laat ik toe dat de Exchange server er overheen mag relayen. Verder configureer ik hier ook de smarthost naar mijn ISP toe. Tevens voor ik bij Domains al mijn domein namen in via Alias.

Brightmail bak configuratie:
Hier loop ik vast. Hier dien je een SMTP insertion HOSTS op te geven. Dit is uiteraard mijn Exchange server, maar je hebt daar 3 velden om in te vullen;
1 Specify the Insertion Host for the Brightmail Control Center :
2 Specify the Insertion Host to send a cleaned virus message to (usually the same host where the Brightmail Client is running).
3 Specify the Insertion Host to send all other messages that need to be reinserted (usually a downstream mail host).

Tevens moet je de Internal mail host instellen. De beschrijving luid:
Specify the IP address or hostname of any mail host in your organization that may touch mail before it reaches a Brightmail Scanner.

Novell BM3.6,
Hier zet ik de Portmapping voor SMTP van Exchange server om naar de Brightmail bak.

Kan iemand mij een indicatie geven wat op de te geven bij de configuratie van Brightmail, en of ik de rest ook goed heb staan.

Het grote probleem was dat de locale SMTP van MS niet relaying to liet van z'n eigen localhost. Hierdoor kon hij de mail niet doorsturen.

Verder moet bij de brightmail optie's de secondare mailserver worden opgegeven, dat is dan in mijn geval de Exchange server.

Het is een zeer goeie SPAM scanner, ik ben er zeer tevreden over.
