hoe "Alle" codecs verwijderen

ik heb de laatste tijd nogal wat problemen met codecs gehad, en nu staat mn pc vol met gare niet/half werkende codecs,...

ik heb al geprobeerd via configscherm--> software verwijderen
alle uninstalls geprobeerd maar het heeft geen effect en tot mijn grote verbazing blijft hij vrolijk alle divx's / xvid's afspelen.

ik heb het bekende probleem dat ik een groene waas over mn beeld heb.

is er een progje of iets dergelijks om alle codecs, te verwijderen.
Gspot vind nog ruim 20 video codecs, maar hiermee kun je ze niet verwijderen....

Maar Gspot kan wel laten zien welke je nog hebt staan

Gebruik regsvr om ze uit je register te slopen en haal de betreffende bestanden weg uit je system32 dir.

Installeer FFDShowfilter , dit zou die groene waas moeten verhelpen.

bij systeemeigenschappen kan je ook de video codecs verwijderen ( apparaatbeheer)

voor het oplossen van het groene scherm ( had ik zelf gisteren ) heeft dit geholpen:

1. Uninstall the Nimo Codec Pack and any other codecs you have tried installing – get rid of them ALL!
2. Shut down your machine.
3. Restart the thing – duh.
4. Download the FFDSHOW 01-03-2003 alpha from http://www.dawnload.net/v...ubtitle_tools/ffdshow.cfm or http://www.afterdawn.com/...s_and_filters/ffdshow.cfm or just do a search for “FFDSHOW Filter” and look for the one with the date 01-03-2003.
5. Now install the Nimo Codec Pack first, BUT make sure you uncheck the “Ffdshow DirectShow 2002-04-19” under “DirectShow Filters” and keep hitting “Next” until the install completes.
6. Now install the “FFDSHOW 01-03-2003” you have downloaded (it’s 9 months newer than the other one and you will see that makes all the difference). Just accept all the default settings and keep clicking “Next”.

!Voila! You are done! No more crashing, just smooth sailing when watching your movies up for academy consideration.

Removing the Default Codecs:

- In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- On the Windows Setup tab, click Multimedia, and then click Details.
- Click the Audio Compression and Video Compression check boxes to clear them, and then click OK.
- Click OK.
The default codecs, with the exception of the Microsoft PCM converter, are removed. You cannot remove the Microsoft PCM converter.

Removing a Specific Codec or MCI Device:

- In Control Panel, double-click Multimedia.
- Click the Advanced or the Devices tab.
- To remove an audio codec, double-click Audio Compression Codecs, double-click the codec you want to remove, and then click Remove.
- To remove a video codec, double-click Video Compression Codecs, double-click the codec you want to remove, and then click Remove.
- To remove an MCI device, double-click Media Control Devices, double- click the device you want to remove, and then click Remove.
