De nummers 3, 4, 5 en 6 binnen DPC doen wat ze aan hun stand verplicht zijn. Allemaal mooie scores die er samen voor zorgen dat DPC weer dik eerste staat in de daily ranking

Persoonlijke MegaFlushes zijn er (zo te zien) voor Tinkerer, Kawai, oehoe, Team Antoniuscollege en TweakMaster. Deze laatste haalt ook een mijlpaal samen met [e-mail], JNR en Xiz.

Voor de rest weinig bijzonderheden, maar dat kan de komende dagen wel eens anders zijn als ik de rankings binnen DPC zo eens bekijk. We zullen zien wat de toekomst ons brengt!

het meerendeel van de clients staan al op http://www1.distributed.net/download/prerelease.php alleen de linux nog niet.

Dat is inderdaad een nieuwe versie, maar niet de versie die ik bedoelde. Blijkbaar toch die versie al, alleen niet duidelijk vermeld in de changelog
de .494 versie heeft met name een cleanup van OGR cores gehad. sinds de vorige public versie (491) zijn met name voor PPC en MacOSX verbeteringen doorgevoerd.

Net even gecontroleerd op een P3 450 Katmai ..
5.13 a/b geven grappig genoeg identieke uitkomst op 2.91
6.0A daarentegen geeft 3.51 en 6.0b geef 3.12

Zeer interessante increase voor P3 bezitters dus die OGR-P2 draaien.
Op de P3 Katmai pakt hij overigens wel de snellere Core#0

Nog even een andere P4 met HTT erbij gepakt ...
Zelfde verhaal maar :
5.13 is beide langzamer met 8.4
60a geeft 11.39 en 60b geeft 9.5 ....
Client pakt 60b en gaat dus vrolijk bijna 2mnodes onderpresteren.

Het is in het verleden wel eens voorgekomen dat een client foutieve resultaten bleek te produceren, maar dan is er altijd genoeg tijd gegeven aan mensen om hun clients weer om te zetten voordat de resultaten van die clients niet meer geaccepteerd werden.

Is er een indicatie wanneer de Linux clients beschikbaar komen? Ik ben met name geinteresseerd een de Athlon-64 client met OGR-P2 ondersteuning. (Is bereid te helpen met compileren en testen indien gewenst)
