mounted ISO niet zichtbaar in NFS export

Ik wil een cd-iso image delen over het netwerk doormiddel van NFS en hem te mounten met:

mount FC2-i386-DVD.iso /var/ftp/pub/Linux/Fedora/ -o loop=/dev/loop2,blocksize=1024

mijn exports staat zo:
/var/ftp/pub/ 10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0(sync,insecure,rw)

Op de server is deze iso leesbaar, in een samba mount ook (ook onder linux), maar met een nfs export niet... Is dit een zwakheid in nfs of doe ik iets fout in het mounten?

       nohide This option is based on the option of the same name
              provided  in  IRIX  NFS.   Normally,  if  a  server
              exports  two filesystems one of which is mounted on
              the other, then the client will have to mount  both
              filesystems  explicitly  to get access to them.  If
              it just mounts the parent, it  will  see  an  empty
              directory  at  the place where the other filesystem
              is mounted.  That filesystem is "hidden".

              Setting the nohide option on a filesystem causes it
              not  to  be hidden, and an appropriately authorised
              client will be able to move from the parent to that
              filesystem without noticing the change.

              However,  some  NFS  clients  do not cope well with
              this situation as, for instance, it is then  possi-
              ble for two files in the one apparent filesystem to
              have the same inode number.

              The nohide option is currently  only  effective  on
              single  host  exports.   It  does not work reliably
              with netgroup, subnet, or wildcard exports.

              This option can be very useful in some  situations,
              but it should be used with due care, and only after
              confirming that the client system  copes  with  the
              situation effectively.

              The option can be explicitly disabled with hide.

waar hoor dit mooie stukje tekst bij?? iets meer info mag wel...

ps. als het een toevoeging is voor exports, dan is het niet de oplossing (heb net ff gecheckt, de mappen zijn nog steeds leeg)

Dan heb je "man exports" nog niet gelezen dus.

Heb je na de wijziging opnieuw gemount (en evt. nfsd herstart ?)

Men heeft het hier expliciet over 2 exported filesystems over NFS. Da's hier niet het geval : Het ISO image is loopback mounted, en daarna geexporteerd. Ik zal het morgen eens op kantoor proberen, eens kijken wat ie bij mij doet

en dat is letterlijk wat je doet , je mount (loopback) een fs op een ander fs ........

ik heb ook een probleempje met een NFS export. Ik heb een samba share gemount op pc1 en die exporteer ik naar pc2 via NFS. ( sambashare --- pc1 --- pc2 )
Als ik dan die NFS export mount op pc2 zie ik een lege dir. Volgens mij kan NFS alleen locale directories exporteren (inode verhaal ed.)
net even getest en nohide helpt niet.

Mounten is niet exporteren.

ik ken fedora gelukkig niet, maar 't wel een moeizame manier van mounten lijkt me.

nohide heb ik er vandaag bijgezet maar dat haalt niks uit
als ik die samba mount op pc1 met samba doorlus naar pc2 werkt het wel overigens , maar samba is weer wat onhandiger imho.
het betreft hier overigens een uptodate gentoo installatie met een 2.6.7 kernel

Mijn exports regel staat in mijn topic start.

Nogmaals alleen bij de nfs export werkt het niet. Samba en apache laten deze mount gewoon zien alsof het een directory is...
