After 2 months I found a solution for my Ipod problems, which I believe should be the same as other users... My Ipod freezes after a few uploads, or sometimes does not recognizes, etc... These happens due conflicts which another services.
steps:
1. Reinstall Ipod and Itunes
2. Restore Ipod (use the CD) then update
3. Reboot computer.
4. I am running windows XP, and these steps should work for others systems...
bellow are others steps from Ipod service..
5. Click the Start button and choose Run. A Run window (command prompt) appears.
6. Enter "msconfig" without the quotation marks into the Open field and click OK. The System Configuration Utility opens.
7. Click the General tab.
8. Deselect the "Load Startup Items" option.
9. Click the Startup tab.
10. Select the "iTunesHelper" option in the list.
11. Click the Services tab.
12. Make sure the "Hide All Microsoft Services" option is selected.
13. Deselect all the items in the list except the iPod Service and the Gear Security Service.
Note: The Gear Security Service is no longer present in iTunes 4.5
14. Click Apply.
15. Click Close. A System Configuration message window appears.
16. Click Restart.
connect Ipod, and should work.. good luck..
