Hoi, ik had gelezen op http://www.tweakxp.com/display.aspx?id=1042 een tweak waarmee je de opslagcapaciteit van systemrestore kan vergroten ipv de standaard 12% van je Diskspace.
Er staat dus het volgende wat je moet doen:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SystemRestore
2. Look for the DWORD Value 'DiskPercent'
3. The Default value is 'C'
4. You can change the default value up to 'F' which is 15% of your drive or any combination of letters A-F that could allow you to use up to 100% of your drive (if you so stupidly chose.)
5. After you make changes, go check out your System Restore settings and you will notice that you can actually increase the maximum disk space you can use.
Dit heb ik keurig netjes gedaan en na de wijziging zag ik ook dat de schuifbalk op een hoger percentage kan worden ingesteld alleen blijkt na een reboot dat ie weer terug staat op de standaard 12% zoals die voorheen ook stond.
Iemand een idee waarom die waardes in het register weer gereset worden? Ik heb met Google al gezocht maar kon niet echt vinden of meer mensen dit probleem hadden.

het is idd niet echt noodzakelijk maar nu ik weet dat het aan te passen is en niet geheel werkt stel ik hier deze vraag voor de professionals
