Ik heb een film (divx) en die moet ik dus goed maken met dat programma.

Kan iemand mij stap voor stap uitleggen hoe ik het moet doen?

Framerate aanpassen ? Geluid loopt niet sync ? in 2en hakken ?

Ik weet niet precies wat er is, maar met divfix kan ik het niet maken, en iemand vertelde me dat ik het hiermee moest maken. Maar ik snap het niet echt.

Select your AVI video file,
Video -> Direct Stream Copy
Audio -> Interleaving -> 500 ms of audio before video start -> Interleave audio every 500 ms
Audio -> Compression -> Choose DivX ;-) Audio at 64Kbps for DivX ;-) Video
Audio -> Full Processing Mode
Save the final AVI

Zeg dan toch gewoon eens WAT je wilt maken/fixen/verbeteren/oppoetsen?

Er werd mij vroeger verteld dat een goede probleemstelling de halve oplossing was...

Sorry dat ik zo vaag uyitleg geef maar ik zelf weet ook niet wat het is en iemand anders zegt dat ik het hiermee moet repareren en hij gaf me dit tekstje, aangezien me engels niet echt goed is snap ik er niet echt veel van:

information:
this file was written as a guide for thoese of you in the process of downloading DiVX files and
wanting to watch the sections you have already aquired.

requires hd space equal in that to the partial divx file

workaround 1
pros:
time: 5 minutes or less
cons:
reconstructed movies can only be played from the beginning or near the beginning. this is
because there are no keyframes. this means that if you seek midway through the
file ... your comp has to process all the frames between the beginning and that
point. THIS MAY CAUSE YOUR SYSTEM TO CRASH (the time it takes for
the seek to complete is a function of length seeked. it will take approx. 1
minute per 4 minutes seeked (seeking 40 minutes into the movie would take 10
minutes)). therefore, seeking is is not recommended with this workaround.
method:
open virtual dub (if you don't have it, get it from [url="http://dvl.cjb.net)"]http://dvl.cjb.net)[/url]
select file, open video file ...
when the open avi dialogue box comes up, select your partial divx file
make sure the popup extended open options box is NOT checked
click open
(virtual dub is reconstructing the avi without keyframes)
an error message will come up warning you about seeking in the
reconstructed avi (like i said). click ok.
now we have our avi loaded in virutal dub. next we have to save it
with valid information.
select video, select range
the value for length (in frames) must be changed to a multiple of 8 less than or equal to the
current value (aka, if the original length is 1085745 frames, the new length needs
to be 1085745 / 8 = 135718.125 ---> integer = 135718 * 8 = 1085744 frames)
select video, direct stream copy
select audio, direct stream copy
select file, save avi ...
type in the desired filename for your reconstructed avi
(NOTE: DO NOT OVERWRITE YOUR ORIGINAL DIVX FILE. THE
RECONSTRUCTED AVI CANNOT BE RESUMED AS A
DOWNLOAD OR IF IT IS, WILL FUCK UP THE ENTIRE
DOWNLOAD.)

workaround 2 (recommended)
pros:
fully compliant divx file results (no conditions on playing it)
cons:
time: approx length of divx movie clip

method:
open virtual dub (if you don't have it, get it from [url="http://dvl.cjb.net)"]http://dvl.cjb.net)[/url]
select file, open video file ...
when the open avi dialogue box comes up, select your partial divx file
make sure the popup extended open options box is checked
click open
another dialogue box will come up (import options: avi import filter)
Note: if this doesn't come up, you've done something wrong.
check the re-derive keyframe flags box, and make sure all the other
boxes are unchecked.
click ok
this step will take 50 - 60 minutes ... go watch some tv (virtual dub is
reconstructing the avi and then rekeying it)
now we have our avi loaded in virutal dub. next we have to save it
with valid information.
select video, select range

Godverdomme ik weet niet waar je het over hebt hoor, maar er staat geen 1 zinnig antwoord waar ik wat mee kan.

Kruit, er wordt in die readme toch verwezen (stap voor stap ook nog) wat je precies moet doen, en met welk proggie?

Backslash32 thanks voor reactie, die readme die heb ik daar zelf geplaatst. Als je goed leest staat daar ook dat me engels niet goed is en dat ik er geen reet van snap. Daarom hoop ik dat iemand me kan vertellen (in het Nederlands) hoe ik het stap voor stap moet doen.

Probleem is alleen dat niemand snapt WAT je nu precies wilt. (ik ook niet)
Je zegt dat je de DIVX moet repareren. HOE repareren.
Speelt ie niet? Loopt niet Sync? Is het uberhaupt DIVX en geen Mpeg?

In die README die je daar hebt geplaatst staat dat je DivX-files die je voor een gedeelte hebt gedownload alvast kan bekijken.
Waarschijnlijk heb je dus een half- of bijna-gedownloade DivX die je niet kan bekijken. Deze moet je dus aan de hand van VirtualDub zien te 'fixen' waardoor je hem wel kan bekijken. Dit doe je door het bestand met VirtualDub te openen, Video en Audio beide op DIRECT STREAM COPY te zetten en vervolgens bij Select Range het aantal frames invullen dat deelbaar is door 8. In de README staat dat als volgt (vertaald naar het Nederlands):
als de originele lengte 1085745 frames is, dan moet de nieuwe lengte 1085745 / 8 = 135718.125 ---> integer = 135718 * 8 = 1085744 frames zijn.
