on the fly brandprobleem

Ik heb een abit kv7 moederbord
Deze is drie maanden oud en geeft vanaf het begin al een probleem.
Het lezen van DVD-rom en branden on the fly gaat niet goed.
Ik heb al geprobeerd:
nieuwe windows;
nieuwe idekabels(ata 100);
3 nieuwe dvdrom-spelers;
ander volgorde ide-apparaten;
verschillende soorten brandsoftware;
nieuwste via 4 in 1 drivers (van 25 mei);
nieuwste bios;

Het maakt allemaal geen verschil.

Ik heb windows xp, bootschijf maxtor sata (1)
ide 1= maxtor 80 master en slave brander pioneer dvr-107d
ide 2= dvdrom (nu jlms xj-hd166s maar ook lite on geprobeerd) master
ik brand voornamenlijk met nero en krijg als foutmelding bij on the fly branden 'error reading data'.
Op 1 speed lukt het overgens wel (maar 4 speed moet toch zonder problemen kunnen?).

wie weet raad naar mijn eindeloze zoektocht naar een oplossing?

Niet dat je OnTheFly dan beter gaat, maar je DMA van je HDD staat nog uit.

Je hebt nog 680MB vrij en werkt met een 80MB buffer, zie evt. dit topic eens om je buffer te vergroten: Nero ultrabuffer limiet opheffen/ophogen

Indien brander: Probeer een ander schijfje, of brand met een lagere brandsnelheid.

'error reading data'

Maak je DVD schoon of rip hem eerst naar de harddisk. Bij DVD-/+R's is de leessnelheid vaak toch een stuk lager, in dat geval is OnTheFly niet aan te raden (sowieso niet als je 100% zeker wilt zijn dat het niet aan je 'origineel' ligt).

Test die disk eens met diverse DVD bench/tools, het kan goed zijn dat het schijfje gewoon niet fris is.
