X1 aansluiten via RGB Scart

Hallo, ik krijg met geen mogelijkheid mijn Infocus X1 aan de praat als ik hem via RGB Scart wil aansluiten... hij vindt geen signaal.
Het lukt me alleen dus om hem met tulpstekkers aan te sluiten, wat dus de minste kwaliteit geeft.

Wie o wie kan me helpen?

Een beamer kan niks met RGB zonder sync. Je zult dus RGBs moeten voeren aan de beamer. De andere oplossing is S-video. Aangezien de X1 een uitermate goeie deinterlacer/scaler aanboord heeft is dit geen schande. Wil je graag RGBs afspelen dan moet je de pc aansluiten of een KISS speler op de progressive scan stand.

Infocus_x1 & Scart
There have been a couple of posts about this recently, so I spoke with Infocus this morning and I hope their reply will be useful to many of you.
First of all, not all Scart devices are exactly the same. But, for the sake of this discussion, there are two possibilities that should be available to most, if not all, Scart-equipped video devices.
The two possibilities are Scart->SVideo and Scart->VGA. Cables for both types of connections are available. While all, or almost all, Scart devices should be able to go to VGA, not all can go to SVideo. If you check the manual for your device, look for (aside from SVideo) Y/C or S-VHS.
Obviously, the VGA connector should give a better image, but depending on what type of device it is (in my case, for example, it is a satellite receiver), the SVideo may be perfectly acceptable.

Verder gebruiken sommige apparaten Sync_On_Green. Dan zit het sync signaal (wat meestal van de composite-video afgehaald wordt) op het groene kleur signaal.
Met een beetje electronica kan je dat ook wel zelf maken. Maar daar zit het probleem misschien helemaal niet in.

Een cheap-ass scart kabel of een verkeerd type scart kabel wil ook nog wel eens de oorzaak zijn.

Ik heb hier ook nog een redelijk prijzige kabel liggen die van scart naar svideo gaat... maar weer geen signaal....

The connector panel features a single VGA port through which you may feed either computer SVGA or XGA signals, as well as HDTV 1080i, 720p, and component 480p. There is a special seven-pin S-video port that is a bit different than you find on most projectors. You can use it as a regular S-video input, but it can also be used as a component video (480i) input as well by using a special cable adaptor that comes with the unit. It is not particularly clear in the manual, but the S-video/component port does not recognize component 480p, and conversely, the VGA port does not recognize component 480i. So you need to make sure to feed these signals into the appropriate ports.

Kortom, je moet hem de juiste signalen sturen in de juiste indeling met de juiste kabel. Eén van die 3 verkeerd = geen beeld.
Op sommige indelingen:
VGA = geen SCART Interlaced
Svideo = niet progressive.
