Restore va 'pub1.edb' Exchange 2003

Hoe restore ik een pub1.edb file?. Heb de server weer draaiend maar met een nieuwe database, er staan alleen nog wat gegevens van 2 mailboxen in mijn oude priv1.edb bestand die ik graag zou willen converteren naar een pst of op een andere mannier eruit te krijgen, heb zelf al Ontrack geprobeerd maar kon toen niet bij de att. komen.

WHY must I always have to do it the hard way!

Solution:

1. I got a box (not compatible hardware as old server), and installed Windows 2K
2. Installed service packs and updates
3. Installed Active Directory and created same AD structure as old Ad.
4. Installed Exchange 2k with same site/org name
5. Installed SP and rollups (Installed outlook)
6. Copied contents of MDBDATA directory to backup directory
7. Copied my PUB1.EDB and PUB1.STM file over top of the NEW PUB files from new installation.
8. Ran ISINTEG -fix -test alltests on the PUB1.
9. Ran ESEUTIL /p on Pub1
10. Attempted to mount store. MOUNTED!
11. CPU Utilization at 100%... Dismounted Store
12. Ran ISINTEG AGAIN
13. Ran ESEUtil /p /g fixed corruption
14. Ran ISinteg again
15. Mounted Store.
16. Went into Exchange system Manager. Modified properties on Public Folders so Administrator had access to the folder.
17. Using Outlook client,(signed in as Administrator) extracted all folders in PUB to PST.
