[XFree 4.3.0] Refreshrate te laag

Oke, excuses....ik dacht ik zet alles er in om niet iets stoms over te slaan.
Maar goed: hernieuwde poging :)
Ik heb dus debian testing geinstalleerd op een bak met 2 monitoren die beide meer dan 85Hz aan kunnen op 1152x864 beeldpuntjes, maar X weigert ze hoger dan 75Hz in te stellen.

Ik heb met gtf modelines gegenereerd (gtf 1152 864 85) en die in de config geplakt om de juiste modeline aan te geven, X geeft zelfs in de logs aan dat de monitor het kan, de kaarten kunnen het aan (in windows draait het prima op 85Hz), in Suse heeft het ook goed gedraaid, dus waarom wil het nu niet? Ik gebruik de volgende config voor mijn monitoren:

Ik heb ook wel geprobeerd om een iets te hoge waarde op te geven voor horizontale sync rates en de verticale sync 85 als hoogste waarde, maar dat haalde niets uit. In de logs stond dan dat de waardes buiten spec van de monitor vielen en dat de defaults gebruikt werden.

Geen resultaat. Ik heb de merk- en type aanduidingen uit de config verwijderd, maar nog steeds 75Hz.
Als je de logs doorkijkt zie je ook dat de monitoren automatisch gedetecteerd worden. Is dat misschien uit te schakelen? Ik zou op zich een module kunnen verwijderen, maar dat is wel een beetje een lompe oplossing.

Update: Ik heb die modules even een andere naam gegeven, maar hij start nu nog steeds op 75Hz op. Er staan wel wat meldingen dat de modules niet gevonden en geladen kunnen worden, maar dat het dan ook wel.

Dit probleem heb ik ook op deze resolutie, op 1280x1024 staat het wel standaard op 85 hz. Met de volgende modeline werkt het bij mij wel op 85hz, getest op zowel een tnt2 als een geforce:

ps. je moet in de "screen" section de modelines specificeren zoals ze heten. Dus niet "1152x864" (dat is de standaard mode), maar "1152x864@85" (stond fout in je andere topic hierover).

Ik heb inmiddels een modeline gekregen die werkt met suggestie van Sihaya, alleen staat het beeld een beetje teveel naar rechts. In Suse zat een programma SaX, dat kon switchen naar een of andere testmode waarin je beide beelschermen uit kon lijnen, ik kon zo niets vergelijkbaars vinden in de standaard debian packages (wat xvidtune doet wordt niet opgeslagen) en de manpages van X. Weet iemand hoe ik dat in Debian makkelijk doe? Xvidtune werkt ook alleen met mijn rechtermonitor, de linker "pakt" hij niet.
