I have wave files with 500+ pulses of about a length of 120 wave
lengths, about 1 second apart. Varying amplitude (also within each
pulse). The noise in between is lower than 0.02 (frequency about 50
Hz)
The frequency of the pulses varies from 500 Hz to 10 kHZ.
The problem is to identify the pulses with Matlab. I can spot the
start (when the amplitude exceeds 0.02) but not the end.
Moreover the files are too long (17 min) to be read with "readwav" as
a whole. How can I make a useful separation? I tried just to cut it
in 10 equal pieces. But I often hit a pulse and cut it.
