[XP Pro] Bezig met zoeken naar beschikbare updates... 0%

Ik kan mijn windows XP professional, engelse editie niet meer updaten. Hij blijft bij het zoeken hangen op de 100%. Onderin IE6 zie ik dan ook de status: Done.

Het is 100% een legale versie.

SP1 is geinstalleerd, en alle updates zijn geinstalleerd t/m een week of 3 geleden.

Ik gebruik ook een personal firewall, en norton anti-virus 2004.

Wat heb ik geprobeerd:

Updaten in een andere taal. Norton en Firewall services stoppen. IE6 cookies en temp internet files verwijderen.

Dit had allemaal niet veel nut.

Mijn windows 2003 server kan ik overigens wel gewoon updaten.

Nu is het probleem niet zo groot, want ik heb SUS op mijn server geinstalleerd en kan eventueel daar de updates vanaf trekken, maar ik vind het toch wel handig als dit te fixen is.

Dan is windows update brak. Dit is volgens mij één van de eerste punten van de FAQ van de windows update site. Even opnieuw installeren en je kunt weer als vanouds updaten.

Ok problem solved. Ik heb de laatste scripting engine (5.6) geinstalleerd.
