Ik ontving vandaag de volgende e-mail:

Geachte heer/mevrouw.

De Abusedesk ontving een e-mail (die u onder dit bericht kunt nalezen)
betreffende het publiek aanbieden van materiaal waarop copyright rust.

Wij sturen u het oorspronkelijke bericht ter kennisgeving toe.
Omdat er tot op heden geen duidelijke juridische basis is voor verdere
actie, blijft het wat ons betreft hier bij.

Het is echter mogelijk, dat de wetgeving op dit gebied gaat
veranderen.
Het kan dan bijvoorbeeld mogelijk worden dat internetproviders worden
gedwongen aan een officier van justitie NAW-gegevens (Naam, Adres,
Woonplaats) bekend te maken.

Voor zover ik kan zien is dit een spelletje blufpoker. Immers, zoals de provider zelf al aangeeft: In Nederland is er geen juridische basis voor het vrijgeven van de persoonlijke gegevens aan de hand van een IP-adres in dit soort zaken.

Zijn er mensen die ook dit soort e-mails hebben ontvangen?

Trouwens, waarom scherm je de naam van je provider af, als het ip adres wel gewoon te lezen is?

Ze zouden actie kunnen nemen, probleem is dat onze wetgeving erg vaag is, dus dat kost hun waarschijnlijk teveel moeite.

Dit is al vele malen langsgekomen, het mailtje wordt behoorlijk regelmatig verstuurd. Via de zoekfunctie zij =n daardoor ook vele mede-lotgenoten ( ) te vinden, met alle conlusies en ideeen erbij
