Ik heb vorige week een Wacom Graphire 3 gekocht. Heeft ff geduurd voor ik hem aan de praat had maar hij lijkt nu toch te werken. In de GIMP kan ik gewoon gebruik maken van pressure sensitivity en ook navigeren in X lukt prima. Ik loop alleen steeds tegen een heel vervelend punt aan. Tijdens het overschakelen van bijv de pen naar de eraser blijft X 'hangen'. Ik kan dan niet meteen input geven door bijv verder te tekenen. X lijkt gewoon te wachten op 'klik' input, maar reageert tijdelijk niet. Soms is het zelfs zo erg dat het een aantal minuten duurt voor hij weer reageert. Klikken met mijn (aparte logitech) muis reageert X dan ook niet op. De pen flink over je scherm bewegen en goed klikken wil soms helpen 'om hem weer los te krijgen' maar zelfs dat helpt niet altijd. Het vreemde is echter dat na een X aantal minuten gebruik van het tablet hij beter lijkt te werken. X lijkt dan sneller te reageren en minder vaak de fout in te gaan. Het lijkt wel of ie eerst een beetje moet opwarmen :+

Ik heb met behulp van de laatste linuxwacom drivers (0.6.2) een nieuwe module voor zowel m'n kernel als X gecompiled. Op het moment draai ik de 2.6.5-love1 kernel. Heb ook 2.6.3-mm2 geprobeerd maar ook die lijkt hetzelfde te hebben.
Ik heb het tablet even kort geprobeerd onder windows en daar lijkt ie gewoon normaal te werken.
Via google en in de mailinglist van linuxwacom ben ik dit probleem nog niet tegengekomen. Dus vrees dat ik een eenzaam probleem heb :(
Loop met het idee te spelen om terug te gaan naar de winkel om het tablet te ruilen. Maar omdat ie onder windows wel gewoon goed lijkt te werken vraag ik me af of het zin heeft.

Hieronder staan logs van oa Xorg.0.log, m'n Xorg.conf en dmesg. Sorry als het overwelmend is, wil alleen de boel ff compleet hebben.
