vsFTPd kan alleen maar anonymous connecten

Ik heb onder Fedora RC1 vsFTPd geinstalleerd en ik maak gebruik van de standaard .conf file.

Nu kan ik alleen maar als anonymous verbinden:
ik krijg bij het inloggen op m'n ftpserver de volgende melding:

530 This FTP server is anonymous only.
Login failed.

Hieronder staat m'n vsftpd.conf:

Dit stukje gaat het dus om.
Als deze aanstaat, kun je inloggen met je lokale username+password.
Hint, ik zou anonymous upload uitzetten

Dan kan ik inderdaad niet bedenken wat er fout is..
Weet je zeker dat je VSFTPD runt en niet per ongeluk iets anders (wil wel eens gebeuren)

Ik gebruik hem zelf onder Redhat 9 en die werkt goed

Nu heb ik gewoon rechtstreeks jou config file gecopy-pasted en ik heb weer hetzelfde probleem... Weer: This FTP server is anonymous only.

Ik heb ook gekeken of ik maybe een andere ftp server draai, maar dat is niet zo.
zou het kunnen zijn dat vsftpd een ander config file draait? dus eentje die niet in /etc/vsftpd/ staat? en zoja hoe kan ik daar achter komen?

(ik draai zelf suse, weet niet waar exact de config bestanden staan bij fedora, maar daar kom je vast wel uit )

Kijk even hoe hij gestart wordt. Dit zou kunnen zijn door in dit bestand:

/etc/inetd.conf

Met deze regel:

Wellicht heb je xinetd draaien, dan zul je in dit bestand moeten kijken:

/etc/xinetd.d/vsftpd

Met deze regels erin:

Als bij 'disable' yes staat, wordt ie (logischerwijs) hier niet gestart.
Het is mogelijk om bij server_args een locatie naar config file mee te geven, zodat de ftp daemon hiermee gestart wordt.

Zoek ook eens op alle vsftpd config files die je eventueel hebt:

Laat even weten wat je resultaat is.

sorry dat ik deze post weer een kickje geef maar beter dan zelf een nieuwe te maken.

Ik heb exact hetzelfde probleem... Ik heb de tutorial op www.vsftpdrocks.org gevolgd maar ik krijg alleen maar anonymous only te zien,

http://www.vsftpdrocks.org/source/ --> daar zie je een stukje if you're planning to have an anonymous server, wel ik heb per ongeluk die code inderdaad ingegeven en ik heb geen idee hoe ik dit er nu weer uitkrijg,

ik draai op debian woody, vsftpd 1.2.1 en config file staat anonymous op OFF en local users op ON
