[BlueTooth] Logitech headset voor de pc

Er zijn al meerdere topics over, maar in nog geen één heb ik de oplossing gevonden. Ook wordt er op sommige topics verbazingwekkend weinig geantwoord (helemaal niet dus), dus vandaar dit nieuwe, hopelijk succesvollere topic. Tevens heb ik het internet afgezocht, maar zoals jullie al konden raden, zonder succes.

Ik heb een headset van Logitech en een dongle van SiteCom. De dongle doet het, heb de nieuwe drivers van de site gedownload en werkt ok.

Nu mijn probleem: wat ik ook doe, de dongle kan mijn headset niet vinden. Al plak ik 'm er aan vast. De headset zelf doet het wel: hij knippert standby en wacht tot er iets gebeurt. Het lijkt haast wel of de twee apparaten via een heel andere "taal" communiceren en zo compleet langs mekaar heen gaan.

Heeft iemand enig idee:
a) wat ik bedoel?
b) hoe dit opgelost kan worden?

( c) een website/topic elders waar dit uitgelegd staat? )

Zit er niet een knopje op voor een instelling van "Vind mij"??

Waarna je hem via het bluetooth programma kan vinden?

Controls
The headset has 3 buttons: volume up, volume down (which are self-explanatory) and power.


Holding the power button for 2-3 seconds turns the unit on or off. When on, the LED flashes blue every few seconds to indicate it is in standby and ready to be used with the last paired device.

Pairing the device is accomplished by holding the power button for about 5 seconds whilst in the off state. The LED then flashes alternate red-blue and the device can now be found in Bluetooth searches. When pairing, the PIN is “0000”, which must be entered on the other device.

The power button is also used for answering a call, ending a call or activating voice dialing. Since you obviously can’t easily see the LED if you are wearing the headset, different tones are played through the speaker when using the functions described above.

Finally, there is a mute function which disables the microphone so the other party can’t hear you. This is activated and deactivated by holding a volume button for 2-3 seconds. A tone played through the speaker every few seconds let’s you know that it is muted.

Usage
I was able to pair the device with my Nokia 7650, but unfortunately I learned the 7650 did not support the Bluetooth headset profile. I found this strange – that the 7650 supported all Bluetooth data functions – file transfer, modem but not audio.

Instead I used Bluetooth equipped PCs for testing the headset. Once the headset was put into pairing mode, the PCs would discover it as “X-MICRO” in Bluetooth searches.

When pairing was complete (by using the preset PIN of “0000”), I could connect the headset service. This would cause the headset to “ring” (tones were played through the speakers) and needed to be “answered” by pressing the Power button. This would connect the audio.


From this point the headset could be used as a soundcard, by selecting it from the list in the application software, or in Control Panel to make it the default audio device for the current user.


I was able to play music, carry out a voice conversation with MSN Messenger and record my voice with Sound Recorder through the headset. However, I ran into problems on the latter two – discussed in the next section.

Jah dat knopje zit er op. Maar dan vindt de dongle m nog niet. Heb het al op verschillende manieren geprobeerd: knopje ingedrukt houden, knopje paar keer indrukken gedurende een periode van 6 seconden, volumeknopjes indrukken of ingedrukt houden, maar er is geen beweging in te krijgen.

Heel erg bedankt, maar nu lijkt het erop dat ik een ander probleem heb. In jouw bericht (en ook in de manual, die ik al meerdere malen heb doorgelezen, zowel de engelse als de nederlandse versie) staat dat hij uitgezet wordt als je de power-knop gedurende drie seconden ingedrukt houdt.

Al houd ik 'm een half uur ingedrukt, hij blijft op standby staan...

(voor de duidelijkheid: de dongle heeft 'm dus nogsteeds niet gevonden)

Jah dat heb ik geprobeerd. In de handleiding staat dat je er een schroevendraaier tussen moet steken om hem zo open te klikken. Maar als ik dat probeer dan sloop ik alleen het kunststof, maar hij gaat niet open. Het kunststof is veel te zacht voor de schroevendraaier...

Zoals ik al zei: dat werkt niet.

Maar het probleem is inmiddels verholpen: ik heb 'm gewoon leeg laten lopen op de standby-stand, toen helemaal opnieuw opgeladen en weer aangezet. Wonderbaarlijk genoeg deed ie het toen wel (de knop, dus ook de "find me" mode). Erg vreemd allemaal en ik weet nogsteeds niet waar het aan heeft gelegen dat de knop niet meer functioneerde, maarja, hij doet het nu, ik blij, topic kan dicht
