Reason 2.5 Setup

Als ik reason 2.5 wil installeren krijg ik de melding dat ik eerst 2.0 moet verwijderen. Dat heb ik gedaan maar ik blijf deze melding krijgen. Hij heeft er al wel opgestaan maar vanwege het rewire (met cubase SX) heb ik hem besloten om hem toch maar opnieuw te installeren. Had ik dat nou maar nooit gedaan

Zoek eens in je register (uitvoeren -> regedit, ctrl-f) naar Reason en verwijder de betreffende keys.

ik heb jou advies ff opgevolgd. Nu heb ik een bestand met de volgende waarden:

Naam: (Standaard)
Type: REG_SZ
Gegevens: Reason.drp

Is het wijs deze gewoon te verwijderen ?

Had hetzelfde.. reason 2.5 bleef maar zeiken.

Ik heb handmatig in HkeyLocalMachine[of currentuser]\software\reason [zoiets] de reason keys weggegooid en voila.

Ik krijg om een of andere reden niet voor elkaar om met Cubase SX en Reason 2.5 (Rewire) tegelijk te werken. Met Reason 2.0 lukt het mij wel.

I installed Reason and I want to use it ReWired to my sequencer (Cubase|Logic|Performer | Sonar | Live) but it doesn't work. What's wrong?.
We have collected all available ReWire setup information on the ReWire help pages. Please have a look there.

I have downloaded and installed the demo, but when I launch Reason I get an error message saying 'Can not open ReWire 2 system...'. What's wrong?.
Cubase installs an older versions of the ReWire.dll and (in some cases) the REX.dll in the wrong place, so they won't get replaced by the new ReWire REX file that Reason installs. Reason needs the ReWire 2 file in order to run, but when Reason asks the system for the file, all it gets is the older version.

1. Do a system wide search for "Rewire.dll".
2. Delete each and every instance of files found with this exact name.
3. Do a system wide search for REX.dll.
4. Delete each and every instance of files found with this exact name.
5. Reinstall Reason to get the new versions of these files back again. Select not to install the Sound bank(s).

Please note that ReWire will still not work in Cubase 5.0 due to problems with the ReWire implementation in Cubase. This has been addressed in Cubase SX/SL.
