[eDonkey] Microsoft Update KB828028 maakt me

ff in het engels want dat had ik net al zitten tiepen (antwoorden mag natuurlijk wel in nl):

I installed the Microsoft Security Update KB828028 from the autoupdate feature of windows. Since then mey eDonkey client said I was firewalled. Before this update I wad "Open". My router (Zyxel 650) forwards the prots to me so it should be open.

I first tried rebooting several times but this did not help (sometimes it does the trich, some services need to be started before eDonkey and sometimes this go's wrong and restarting usually helps ..) this time.

When I uninstalled the security patch and rebooted the client was open again (eDonkey 2000 v0.52).

Heeft iemand hier een oplossing voor anders dan het de-installeren van de Microsoft Patch ?? Als ik nl "firewalled" ben heb ik een zeer gelimiteerde download snelheid (ongeveer een derde..).

Ik zou het antwoord niet direct weten, maar er is eMule opensource eDonkey, deel 10 en ik gok dat je vraag daar veel beter past
