[debian] security updates niet bereikbaar

Ik heb al meer dan twee dagen errors omdat apt-get update niet goed werkt.
Het lijkt erop dat security.debian.org down is, heb het geprobeerd vanaf meerdere hosts.
Niemand anders dit gemerkt?
De Debian homepage is zoals gewoonlijk weer heerlijk informatief (not).

Yup ik heb hetzelfde gemerkt met een standaard knoppix install, maar als ik een nederlandse mirror neem van de full mirror list van debian (http://www.debian.org/mirror/list-full) loste ik het probleem op.

Ik heb het ook al ondervonden, ik gebruik nu tijdelijk die van skynet, die doet het wel nog.

Misschien is het handig om voortaan gewoon eerst eens op irc.freenode.org te kijken en daar #debian te joinen. De machine genaamd "klecker" schijnt kapot of down te zijn volgens de topictitel. Klecker is de bak die security en non-US host. Je kunt natuurlijk zolang ook mirrors gebruiken, ftp.debian.nl heeft een debian-security directory met daarin een mirror van security.debian.org.

Er zijn in mijn ruime computer en netwerk ervaring twee gaten: games en chatten. Dus u begrijpt

Security Host Downtime

Yesterday around 15:00 UTC we the host klecker.debian.org crashed.
Unfortunately, it didn't react on the serial console and to a remotely
issued power-cycle.


The following services are affected by this downtime:

security.debian.org

    The public security archive.  As a temporary solution, please
    switch to <http://ftp.rfc822.org/debian-security/> instead.

nonus.debian.org

    The public non-US archive.  As a temporary solution, please
    switch to <http://ftp.rfc822.org/debian-non-US/> instead.

search.debian.org

    The public search facility for the Debian website.

qa.debian.org

    The public resources of the quality assurance (QA) team.

nm.debian.org

    The public resources for new-maintainership organising.

www-master.debian.org

    The internal master website.  This means that no updates to the
    public webserver are possible until klecker is restored.


Our site admin will have physical access to the machine in the
colocation facility about noon tomorrow (February 3rd).  We hope that
the machine can be revived and that the affected services will be back
at the afternoon.
