DV AVI's in mediaplayer verkeerde resolutie?

Met de search helaas niets kunnen vinden, dus dan maar zo:

Ik heb een avi-file. Met de codec Microsoft DV AVI. De resolutie is 720x576.
Als ik deze file afdraai op een van m'n pc's met mediaplayer 6.4 (maar ook met mediaplayer 8.0) dan is de resolutie inneens 360x288 (de helft dus)
Mediaplayer staat niet op 50% weergave ofzo, als ik bij eigenschappen kijk in mediaplayer, dan geeft hij gewoon de resolutie 360x288 aan.
Als ik met avi-info kijk dan geeft 'ie gewoon de werkelijke resolutie (720x576) weer.

Dit is trouwens alleen maar het geval met DV AVI, heb ik een divx avi of een ongecomprimeerde avi, dan speelt de pc 'm normaal af.

Bekijk ik de file met m'n andere pc's, dan is er niets aan de hand.

Alle pc's hebben windows XP pro met SP1.

Hoe kan dit en hoe kan ik dit verhelpen?

Problem

DV movies play back at half resolution in Windows Media Player.

Solution

On some systems, the default playback size for DV is 360x288 (PAL) or 360x240 (NTSC). Windows Media Player will play back the movies at this resolution, rather than their full resolution. The fix is slightly different, depending on the version of Windows Media Player you are using.

Windows Media Player 6

Double-click on a DV AVI file to start Windows Media Player
Stop the movie from playing by clicking the stop button (make sure that the movie is not paused)
Right-click over the main preview window and select "Properties" from the popup menu
Click the "Advanced" tab
Select the DV Video Decoder from the list
Click the "Properties" button
Select "Full" as the resolution
Set "Save As Default"
Click OK
Close the Properties window
Close Windows Media Player
DV movies will now play at full resolution

Windows Media Player 7 and above

Start Windows Media Player
Select "Options" from the "Tools" menu
Select the "Performance" tab
Click "Advanced" under "Video acceleration"
Make sure Digital Video is set to "Large"
Click OK
Click OK
Close Windows Media Player


DV movies will now play at full resolution
