OPB706A component

I am new to the forum but I like it already. (So be nice )
I'm trying to build a DreamWeaver. It’s a device to induce lucide dreams. (Very interesting by the way)

There is 1 component OPB706A that I can't seem to order. (The only comp. needed )

The component is for sale in the US www.newark.com but they only accept $250 orders outside the US.

Already tried www.conrad.nl and phoned every electronic store available in the phonebook... They all say "We have 3 major databases and it's not in it" That’s the downside of living in a small country I guess

I'm from the Netherlands so I'm searching for a company that delivers in Europe who can order in the US. Or other tips?

Can someone please help me out?

Ja, maar het gebeurt ook weleens dat er een Engelsman in Nederland woont, die niet of gebrekkig Nederlands spreekt.

Ik vind het een raar schema, wat doet de kathode van een LED tegen de emitterdiode van een NPNtor?

Euss: Nee, het is geen optocoupler als een TIL111 etc. De bedoeling van dit ding is dat het de afstand tot een reflectief iets meet dmv. de lichtintensiteit die het terugkrijgt. Je zou het dus beter kunnen vervangen door een cny70 of een hoa1404-2 of gewoon een IR-ledje + IR-tor.

Exter: Je hebt gelijk. Voor zover ik het zo 123 gezien heb zijn de collector en de emitter van de tor omgedraaid.
