[google=shell32.dll, Control_RunDLL "C:\WINDOWS\System32\sysdm.cpl"] geeft een tip:
I just did a google search on this. Found one answer that said you have to
reinstall everything. OOPs .. Found another that said to run repair from
the cd. That might work. And then I found this:
"With CD in, You could just put this in the RUN command box and hit enter.
rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf "
and then this answer:
"I was getting the following error message:
Exception occurred while trying to run "shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL
"C:\windows\system32\sysdm.cpl,"System".
rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf worked for
me."
What that is doing is reinstalling your system restore which is what a full
repair would do. I think you should give that a try. Shouldn't do any harm.
If that doesn't work, there is a repair function on the cd you could try.
