Hi,

I bought a new S-ATA 160gb from Maxtor, I installed it into my computer..
When I startup the computer, And it is checking the harddisks from RAID/S-ATA (highpoint technology) It says it found the blahblahblah what MUST be the Maxtor S-ATA 160gb.. That should be OK, but when windows is loaded (windows server 2003) I do NOT get any 'New Hardware Found' baloon or whatever. When I check the hardware list, I can't find the harddisk.

I was checking out my motherbook manual, and there was a line 'You can't use RAID and S-ATA the same time' so I thought, I must turn out my RAID which I don't use. But the reason was that RAID & S-ATA uses 1 chip... I tried to change my settings from my RAID/S-ATA bios util that that HDD must BOOT.. still nothing works..

Then I tried to install drivers from my motherboard, 'RAID drivers'
After I did that, I got a blue screen, restarted and got an blue screen and over and over.. so I backupped files by using F8, save shit... And installed windows server 2003 again...

Well I still don't have my 160gb harddisk working.. Does anyone knows how to fix this??
