Everything in woman is a riddle, and everything in woman hath one solution --it is called pregnancy.
Man is for woman a means: the purpose is always the child. But what is woman for man?
Two different things wanteth the true man: danger and diversion. Therefore wanteth he woman, as the most dangerous plaything.
Man shall be trained for war, and woman for the recreation of the warrior: all else is folly.
Too sweet fruits--these the warrior liketh not. Therefore liketh he woman;--bitter is even the sweetest woman.
Better than man doth woman understand children, but man is more childish than woman.
In the true man there is a child hidden: it wanteth to play. Up then, ye women, and discover the child in man!
A plaything let woman be, pure and fine like the precious stone, illumined with the virtues of a world not yet come.

"Lo! now hath the world become perfect!"--thus thinketh every woman when she obeyeth with all her love.
Obey, must the woman, and find a depth for her surface. Surface, is woman`s soul, a mobile, stormy film on shallow water.
Man`s soul, however, is deep, its current gusheth in subterranean caverns: woman surmiseth its force, but comprehendeth it not.-
Then answered me the old woman: "Many fine things hath Zarathustra said, especially for those who are young enough for them.
trange! Zarathustra knoweth little about woman, and yet he is right about them! Doth this happen, because with women nothing is impossible?
And now accept a little truth by way of thanks! I am old enough for it!
Swaddle it up and hold its mouth: otherwise it will scream too loudly, the little truth."
"Give me, woman, thy little truth!" said I. And thus spake the old woman:
"Thou goest to women? Do not forget thy whip!"

Kan iemand mij hier een uitleg voor geven in mensentaal.
Ik heb namelijk godsdienst van de prefect en die belooft steengrill tijdens de les als iemand hiervoor de correcte uitleg voor kan geven.
Ook de Nederlandse tekst van dit stuk zou heel handig zijn.

Je zit op school om iets te leren, maar omdat jullie altijd in de les zitten te klieren bedenkt die goede man dit en belooft als extra stimulans "steengrill".

Is deze situatieschets een beetje in de goede richting?

De correcte uitleg? Net alsof er 1 correcte uitleg zou bestaan? Je kan Nietzsche natuurlijk op diverse wijzen interpreteren en er is niets zoiets als de correcte uitleg.

Hier alvast de link naar het Duitse origineel, wat wat verteerbaarder is dan het Engels. Verder wil ik er graag op wijzen dat dit stuk geschreven is in een mensentaal, namelijk het Duits, en dat jouw opmerking 'kan iemand hier een uitleg voor geven in mensentaal' mij doet vermoeden dat je simpelweg geen zin hebt om iets te lezen waar je moeite voor moet doen. Gecombineerd met het feit dat dit kennelijk een huiswerkopdracht is, en bovendien nog eentje die de docent duidelijk heeft opgegeven opdat jullie er eens je hoofd over kunnen breken, zie ik eigenlijk niet in waarom ik jou aan een interpretatie zou willen helpen. Ik vind het eigenlijk een beetje zielig dat je probeert die steengrill in de wacht te slepen zonder er zelf iets voor te hoeven doen.

Bovendien heeft morgoth natuurlijk wel gelijk als hij zegt dat er niet 1 juiste interpretatie is.

Whip = penis? Ik heb het niet gelezen, maar het herinnerde mij ergens aan. Het kan waarschijnlijk ironisch bedoelt zijn. Vergelijk: wie van zijn vrouw houdt, bespaart haar de roede (= whip) niet. Maw: make love!

Het origineel is Duits, en er staat gewoon 'zweep', niet 'penis'.

Zoals al door twee van mijn voorgangers is gezegd: het is hier op W&L inderdaad wel de bedoeling dat je tenminste laat zien dat je er zelf over nagedacht hebt...
