Ja, dat is een bekend probleem! Het heeft te maken met je JVC camera. Ik heb twee digitale JVC camera's en een digitale Sony camera geprobeerd. Beide JVC's hadden dit probleem, de Sony niet. Desondanks heb ik toch de JVC gekocht. Was gewoon beter, had digitale ingang en goedkoper!
De oplossing:
Je moet overstappen op de drivers van Texas instruments.
Ik heb wel een verhaaltje voor je hoe dat moet maar dat is gemaakt voor installatie van het pakket Studio DV van Pinnacle.

DVSwith is a Pinnacle tool that runs under Win98 SE. It switches between the TI and MS driver.
DVSwitch was created for PAL JVC camcorders, which work better using the TI driver. Most other camcorders work with the MS camcorder driver, some work better using the TI camcorder drivers.
When DirectX 8 comes out, then DVSwitch should not be necessary for PAL JVC camcorders anymore. I don't know when DirectX is coming out.
For those of you who want to try to load the TI driver under W2K here is what I did.
1. Use Windows explorer to copy 2 files from the "DRIVER" folder on the Studio DV CD to your boot disk.
copy dvcam.sys (studio CD:\folder) to c:\winnt\system32\driver
copy dvcam.inf (studio CD:\folder) to c:\winnt\inf
2. Go to device manager and remove the DV camcorder device under the heading Imaging Devices. i.e. Highlight it by clicking on it, then hitting the del key or press the uninstall button. Let device manager update.
3. While in device manager, click on the Scan for new hardware button. The add new hardware wizard pops up.
a. on the first screen, click next
b. it will be looking for a device (maybe 1394,media, etc.). Leave it set to "Search for..." and click next.
c. Select specify a location, click next
d. Type in or browse to c:\winnt\inf
e. If you browsed, the next screen will have the path above, click OK. If you typed the path in, go to f.
f. The next screen say it will now load c:winnt\inf\dvcam.inf Click next to load the TI camcorder driver. Pay attention to the check box at the bottom. If you check it, you can now select between the TI and MS driver. THIS IS HOW YOU WILL GO BACK TO THE MS DRIVER IF YOU WANT TO.
g. There is no digital signature for the TI driver, click YES.
h. It most likely will ask for the studio DV CD. Set the path to c:\winnt\system32\driver, click OK.
i. click Finish.
To go back to the MS camcorder driver, repeat steps a - f. On step f check the checkbox at the bottom, then click OK and it should finish up on its own.
