[g550] Geen dvdmax (tvout) ?! :(

Na een hele voormiddag te liggen prutsen heb ik het nog steeds niet aan de praat gekregen (Ik héb de search/google/matrox-forum gebruikt).

Wanneer ik een dvd/divx speel krijg ik hetvolgende window :

Maar er komt geen beeld op de tv ...
Wat ik al gedaan heb en niks opbracht :
* Resolutie veranderen naar 1024*768 @ 16 bit
* Drivers ge-delete en opnieuw geiinstalled
* DirectX9 geiinstalled
* Kabel gecheckt ...

Wat ik wel raar vind is hetvolgende :

Is het normaal dat deze er alletwee staan ? Maakt niet uit of ik er nou één wegzwier, bij een reboot staan er terug twee.

Yup, dat is normaal, omdat je videokaart twee beeldschermen kan aansturen laat ie ook twee display adapters zien, of je er nou gebruik van maakt of niet

Je hebt nog geen andere programma's uitgeprobeerd om beeld op je TV te krijgen? Misschien dat er nog wat nuttige dingen in de De grote tv-out FAQ staan.

Het zou moeten werken zonder tooltjes (heeft het vroeger toch altijd gedaan ?! )
Edit : Ik heb alles ge-uninstalled met het tooltje van de matrox-site en opnieuw een install gedaan van de drivers. Nu heb ik terug 1 Display adapter (Matrox Millennium G550).
En wanneer ik een film speel komt er nog steeds bij dvdmax : Enabled and active.

Wat me ook is opgevallen is dat bij Display (onder DxDiag) de optie "AGP texture Acceleration = Not available. Terwijl een G550 dit eigenlijk wel zou moeten kunnen ?! ...

I used this card very well over 16 months. However yesterday I found TV-Out Function did not work at all suddenly without any previous altering of computer setting. It was just the same environment of computer software or hardware. TV-Out function is my favorite one in G550 and I usually use this function 1-2 times a week.

I searched my problem in Matrox Forum and tested in some way. Would you check the result out and tell me what to do?

The symptoms that I found more about my card are like this,
1. No TV out in 2ndary port.
2. No red lights in monitor when connected to 2ndary port.
3. Unable to use TV as a primary monitor.

First, with only the monitor connected to the primary port, enable the DualHead Clone mode and then, disconnect the monitor from the primary port and connect it to the 2ndary port (I think that this is to see if 2ndary port is intact or not). The result was that my moniter showed only green and blue, not showed any red lights in spite of good red signals in monitor checking.
Second I connected TV to the primary port in clone mode with monitor in 2ndary port. TV couldn't show any good picture, only severely scrambled picture and the monitor showed the same picture as said before-no red light. (I think that this is to see the goodness of TV out Cable) The result means that the cable is either not good.
Third, the monitor connected to primary port showed normal picture.

Do you mean you have lost the red color on the secondary port? If so, You will need to fill out the online rma request form at http://rma.matrox.com/ to have the card repaired or replaced.

Ik heb dus hetzelfde probleem ... -zucht-
Probleem is ook dat de kaart van Funcomputers komt uit duitsland, gaat me allicht meer kosten aan verzenden etc dan een nieuw kaart kost. -1 voor matrox vanwege ik ! (of heeft er iemand _wel_ goede ervaringen met dingen terugsturen ?) ..
