en lees hier dit :

Nou in de bios van deze laptop kan je standard ide en enhanced ide kiezen...
De 4GB hd kan DMA2 en MWDMA2 aan.
Maar ik heb hem nog nooit op DMA kunnen zetten, ook in gentoo niet.
Ohja, in gentoo zie ik geen verschil met Standard IDE en Enhanced IDE met hdparm
testjes...
