CD / DVD speler sluiten met shortcut.

Weet iemand of er een programma'tje bestaat om met een paar sneltoetsen je CD/DVD speler van je computer te kunnen openen / sluiten ? Dus een beetje wat ook de Mac's hebben, de toets rechtsbovenaan het toetsenbord, bestaat zoiets ook voor de gewone PC ?

Hier heb ik wel het volgende gevonden:

Alleen ik heb geen verstand van VB, heb hiervan wel een vbs kunnen maken, maar dan krijg ik een compilatie-error.

Een VB scriptje verdient dan ook mijn voorkeur, mits er wordt bijverteld hoe ik hem precies moet compileren.

WinEject's features

Basic features

WinEject opens and closes drives with motor driven trays (like most cd-rom drives). With other drives using removable media (like ZIP drives) WinEject is able to eject inserted media.

Control

WinEject is controlled using a little icon in the system tray area next to the clock. You can also assign shortcut keys ("Hotkeys") for opening and closing drives.

Automatic eject

WinEject is able to open all drives that contain disks when you log off from Windows. In case WinEject can't open a drive (like a normal floppy drive), a warning message is displayed. This way, you'll never forget your disks in the drives.

Protection against loss of data

Before WinEject ejects writeable disks, it flushes the operating system's disk cache. All data is safely written to the disk. If you use the eject button on the drive it may happen that some data in the cache will not be written to the disk. If using a ZIP drive this data may even be written on a disk that you insert afterwards, over writing data on this disk. With WinEject, you can avoid this problem.

Locking drives

Some drives can be locked by WinEject. The manual eject button on the device will be disabled, only WinEject can open those drives in that case.

Special features for Windows NT

Normaly, it's not possible to eject rewritable media in NT without having administrator privileges. WinEject contains a NT service, which allows normal users ejecting those disks. This service also allows controlling drives on a remote computer. This can be usefull for ejecting drives on a computer where nobody is logged on to.

Command line interface

The standard features like Open, Close, Lock and Unlock can be invoked using command line parameters. This allows you to use WinEject in batch files, e.g. to eject a disk automatically after a successful backup.

@ FJK, deze threads had ik ook al gevonden, maar niet echt relevant voor mijn situatie. Aangezien ik op zoek ben naar een VB-script (wat ik dan kan koppelen aan een knop van mijn multimedia keyboard) dat mijn DVD speler of mijn CDRW opent / sluit.

Misschien titelfix ?

DoRRoN: waarom zou het programma dat ik je gaf niet werken? dan ram je ctrl-f12 oid en je tray gaat open. is imho eenvoudiger dan te gaan vbscripten.

Dat VBScript stond er net nog niet

Maar idd, een los prog is net zo makkelijk. En VBScript compileer je niet, maar roep je aan via WSH (in Windows) of via IE - het stukje code wat je aangeeft embed je normaliter in een HTML bestandje, maar zie HTML/VBScript of WSH/VBScript help daarover
