Windows update voor NL niet beschikbaar

Weet dat het tegen de policy's is om te melden dat een server e.d.
er uit ligt, maar dat is wat kritischer. Vanaf NL machine's kan ik geen
Windows update's meer uitvoeren.

Heb al een mail gestuurd naar Microsoft maar nog geen reactie mogen
ontvangen. Dit ervaar ik op ongeveer 6 machine's.

Zijn er meer mensen die dit ook hebben (opgelost).

er zit ook een help bij die windowsupdate, daar heb je vast al in gekeken toch?

probeer wat informatiever te zijn zoals
- welk os je gebruikt
- zit je achter een router
- wat je zelf al hebt ondernomen behalve wachten op ms

Ik heb net ff Windows update gedaan en ik ervaar no problemo. Het lijkt me sterk dat de server eruit ligt, zoals jij zelf suggereert in je openingszin.

Het komt voor bij Windows XP Pro NL SP 1 geinstalleerd.
Internet Explorer versie 6.0.2800.1106

zowel bij mij thuis als hier op mijn stage bedrijf, (ADSL @ Planet & Essent)

Windows Update.log, te vinden in je Windows directory. Maar heb je (voordat je Microsoft ging mailen) al moeite gedaan om te onderzoeken waar het fout gaat?

Op een Windows 2k03 Server EN gaat het wel prima.

Kan wel gaan onderzoeken wat er fout gaat, maar het lijkt me een structrueel
probleem, omdat het op meerdere machine's voortkomt in verschillende omgevingen.

IE 6.0.2800.1106 op win2k via vaste verbinding en proxy/firewall en binnen 10 seconden kan ik op zoeken naar updates aanklikken. Op 5 testmachines getest ook 1 met XP

Hij wil gaan zoeken en dan klapt hij er uit, maak je wel gebruik van NL versie's ?

jazekers alleen servers engels, ik gebruik eigenlijk SUS maar heb testhok met meerder machines en allemaal via de NL site en gewoon werken

alle 5 nog een keer laten checken met de link in je eerdere post maar alles ok hierzo

Problem Description:
We usually see this error if Windows Update is looking for iuident.cab on a different server than where they are trying to access Windows Update.

We typically see this from users who are members of our Beta program and who switch between our beta and production web sites.

This may also apply to users whose corporate administrator has deployed Software Update Services.


Resolutions:
1. Click on Start, Run and type "REGEDIT" (w/o the quotes). The Registry Editor will open.

Zelf krijg ik fout : 0x800A138F

This behavior indicates that the scan process encountered an error it could not recover from. You may be able to determine the specific error by looking in the Windows Update.log file, located in the Windows folder on Windows XP, Windows 98, and Windows Millennium Edition. The folder is located in the Winnt folder on Windows 2000.

Temporarily disabling antivirus and firewall programs while you use Windows Update may solve this problem. Be sure to enable them again when you complete the update process.

You might also be able to resolve this issue by deleting all of the content in Program Files\Windowsupdate and Program Files\Windowsupdate\V4 except for the iuhist.xml file located in Program Files\Windowsupdate\V4.

Is er wel een taal geinstalled in IE?

Heb het zelfde gehad en nadat ik een taal installeerde deed hij het wel.

IE -> extra -> internet opties -> talen

De taal in IE is de ene optie, een andere is dat de tijd van de systemen meer dan 100 dagen verschilt van de werkelijkheid.

Overigens krijg ik 620 hits als ik op Google zoek op deze code: http://www.google.nl/sear...F-8&oe=UTF-8&q=0x800A138F, de meeste pagina's zijn handleidingen die je helpen met troubleshooten.

Gebruik nu de secure server https........., deze werkt wel.
