Exchange still thinks he's in a clusterenvironment

Hello Outthere!

After a weekend hard work (now tired) to restore our Microsoft Exchange 5.5. Server We still got some strange errors! Maybe someone can help us?

The server we restored was a node of clusterserver (couple of years ago) Because Microsoft Clustering is a nightmare we decided a couple of years ago to break down the cluster and go single! We were very happy after then. Because the system was more stable then with clustering....

BUT..... Now, last weekend we had a systemdisc crash. We reinstalled Exchange and restored the database. After a lot of work we can access Outlook again. But when we tried to reinstall the Internet Mail Connector (IMC) he's asking for a dll (clusapi.dll) and refuses to get installed, because he still thinks he's part of a cluster! BUT HE IS NOT!!!! How can I tell Microsoft Exchange that he is not in a clustered enviroment anymore.....???

Does anybody know?

Eeuhm, ik snap dat het makkelijk is om zo te copypasten van en ander forum of bijv. usenetpost en dat (bijna) iedereen die hier wat van weet goed Engels kan lezen. Maar neem even de moeite om het te vertalen als je wilt dat mensen de moeite nemen om je te helpen

Edit/uitleg: GoT is namelijk een Nederlandstalig forum. Geen probleem om een keer iemand te helpen als ze geen NL kunnen schrijven, maar dat kan jij gezien je eerdere topics en de stijl van deze post best wel
