[wine] privileged instruction in 32-bit

Heb net een verse install gedaan van Mandrake 9.1

Draai met een ati radeon 9700, met de ati drivers (www.ati.com)

Installatie en compile van wine ging goed via cvs, ik kan notepad starten zonder problemen.

Nu heb ik de kazaa installatie gedownload (www.kazaalite.tk) en geprobeerd deze te starten:

Ik heb echter geen idee wat ik met deze foutcode moet, ik heb de search afgelopen (deze heeft me al vaak geholpen) maar kon niets vinden, zelfs google' en leverde niet veel op.

In de Wine appdb staat nog wat informatie waar je misschien wel wat aan hebt (met name over het kopieren van dll's.

Google weet verder ook nog wel het 1 en ander

Gebruik je Windows DLL's of de builtin wine dll's? Dit kan je ook nog proberen te wisselen (staat ook het 1 en ander over op de appdb geloof ik).

Ik gebruik nu de builtin dll's van wine, maar hoe weet ik welke dll's ik nodig heb voor die install van kazaa??

Notepad werkt wel, maar alles wat een "install scherm" wil openen crashed met dezelfde foutmelding...

Bedank voor de links trouwens, alleen daar gaat het over het "aan het werk krijgen" van kazaa...

Zover kom ik nieteens omdat de installer nieteens wil starten, ik vraag me dus af in hoeverre ik dat in DLL's moet zoeken..

Dat laatste zinnetje over de 32bit code, ik denk dat het hem daarin zit.. maar hoe...

inb is een kernel mode operatie, je wordt eerst geacht ioperm() aan te roepen.

Melden aan het Wine team, dit lijkt me niet oplosbaar zonder aanpassingen aan Wine. Ik vraag me alleen af waarom die io instructutie daar staat...
