Hi,
I'm seriously considering to get an DVD burner (probably the Nec-1300a) but I have one unanswered question. My desktop is a few years old but since internal models are a lot cheaper than external an internal would be my preference.
But, will a dvd-burner work correctly in a P2-300 with 212mb RAM, and 100gb disk(udma/33 or 66)?
I believe all models have buffer underrun protection and it may not use the highest speeds while burning but a can accept that if I won't have problems with to low data-transfer rates and an unuseble DVD-burner and disks.
Please advise if possible,
Regards, Chilly
