Hallo, onderstaande post heb ik geplaatst op een Amerikaans forum maar echt veel zinnige feedback kreeg ik er niet van terug, hier iemand met een idee?

Recently bought myself a new pc.
Thought i had it all worked out a fine but there seems to be a problem running it.
Thirst, the specs.
p4 3.0 ghz 800mhz FSB (HT)
asus p4c800-e deluxe
corsair twinx 3700 1gb
hercules 3d prophet 9800 pro
hyundai q17 17" tft
Plextor dvd 16x and Plextor 52x32x52 burner
OS: Windows XP Professional UK (sp 1)
Installed new hercules/asus drivers
Ok, so first i flashed the Bios to the newest version which is 11.
I did not tried any 'exotic overclocking settings' just the basic (mostly ' auto') settings in the bios.
When booting and installing XP, there is a display bug at the stage installation displays the users agreement. (bottom half of the screen is 'blurred' like a bad tv reception.) So i just used an old CRT monitor for installation
After installing all necessary, updated, drivers, the system seems to be running okay. (the TFT as well, although i had to disable the windows boot display otherwise this looks blurred as well.) There is no problem what so ever using this tft do besides that.
Now the problem is that i get extremeley low 3d performance for this kind of pc, eg a 3dmark 2003 (newest patch) score of 2355.
I can't seem to find the problem (s) it looks like a software/settings thing to me. Because the hardware all seems to be working fine.
So, anyone got an idea?

Quiet often when the system reboots, it reboots two or three times while loading windows and then just boots without any problem. Maybe someone has an idea on that as well.
