Server start niet goed op na Veritas IDR test

Op een HP ProLiant DL360G3 hebben we een back-up gemaakt met Veritas 9.0. Hier hebben we ook de IDR optie van. Als test hebben we een Citrix server gepakt, en hier met de IDR optie een back-up op terug gezet. Nu boot hij, maar bij het afronden van de setup krijgen we de volgende error:

erg simple. google bied hulp zo uit de veritas faq

De v9 IDR is erg buggy. Heeft Veritas al toegegeven. Werk zelf voor een Veritas Reseller / Partner en zijn bezig met debuggen. Het is, zoals het er nu voor staat, wachten op 9.1

het verbaast me niets. de keren dat ik de IDR (ook bij versie 7 en 8 ) goed heb zien werken, van tape bootend, kan ik op 1 hand tellen, zowel bij netware als windows. ik geef toe dat het misschien niet altijd aan backupexec/veritas heeft gelegen. dat zegt dan ook weer iets over de gebruiksvriendelijkheid ervan (die ik bij de rest van het pakket trouwens wel erg sterk vind).

Hoera, ik heb het probleem opgelost!!!

Draadje mag wat mij betreft gesloten worden. Veritas komt op termijn met een patch voor dit probleem!
