[phpmyadmin] Uitloggen vraagt om wachtwoord

Hallo allemaal,

ik heb een beetje een raar probleem. Net heb ik Apache 1.3, PHP 4.3.3, mySQL 4.0.15 en phpMyAdmin-2.5.3 geinstalleerd.

Apache, PHP en mySQL draaien goed. Echter phpMyAdmin doet een beetje raar. Ik heb in config.inc.php ingesteld dat de authenticatie moet gebeuren via HTTP (dus zo'n inlogschermpje). In de database heb ik op root een wachtwoord gezet. Inloggen is geen probleem en ook het aanmaken van databases en dergelijke is geen probleem in phpMyAdmin.

Het probleem is uitloggen... Zodra ik probeer uit te loggen krijg ik weer het inlogvenstertje. Nou denk je, extra beveiliging, nog maar een keer het wachtwoord invoeren en thats it. Niet dus, het door mij in de database ingestelde wachtwoord wordt niet gepikt en ook geen wachtwoord invullen werkt niet.

Hieronder staat mijn config.inc.php (tenminste, het deel waar het volgens mijn kennis moet worden ingesteld;) )

Dit heeft niets met programmeren te maken, eerder met configuratie. Dergelijke topics horen dan ook in SA thuis.

Volgens mij is het wachtwoord niet het wachtwoord van root op je database. Het is een wachtwoord dat je via Apache moet instellen. Zie de docs daarvoor.

ik heb zelf via .htaccess een naam+ww op die "site" gezet (Apache+XP). Bij uitloggen geen verdere vragen e.d. Dus ik weet niet hoe of wat jij krijgt.

phpMyAdmin komt geloof ik altijd met een inlogscherm als je hebt uitgelogd.
probeer eens de instelling 'cookie', dat werkt misschien beter?
