[word] mailmerge met soms adres, soms met postcode

ik heb een access document met adressen.

Sommige adressen hebben een postcode, sommige alleen een huisadres. Nu moet ik etiketten maken in word (mailmerge) maken voor een mailing...

Dat gaat goed, in zoverre, ik krijg nu stikkertjes.. met adressen.

Maar ik wil dat als een contact een postbus heeft, dat dan het adres vd postbus geprint wordt en als er geen postbus is, dat dan het huisadres geprint wordt.

Kan ik dat ergens instellen in Word??

oja, of kan ik in Access een query maken die dit doet???

Volgens mij niet... (weet het NIET zeker) omdat word niet kan weten of jij een postbus hebt of een huisadres (hebt ingevoerd) misschien met een macro? dunno.. chek de help eens misschien heeft die antwoord

wat ik zelf al gedaan heb...
- me eigen rotgezocht op GOT en in de help...

als er geen postbus is, dan is dat veld leeg.. dat lijkt me checkbaar...

Kan ik een vergelijkbare IF in mijn SQL query proppen??? dan zou ik er ook zijn...

je kan gewoon if then else doen in word.
en de tweede in google is raak:

Have you ever wished you could customize the contents of a merge letter
based on the values stored in a merge field?

You can do just that with the If...Then...Else... merge field.

Let's say that in your letter, you want to show the number of
transactions for the month, a number that is stored in your data source
in a field called TransCount. If the value in TransCount is 1, you want
to print "1 transaction." If the value in TransCount is 0 or greater
than 1, you want to make the word "transaction" plural, as in "0
transactions" or "22 transactions."

Here's how to do that:
Remember, to replace TransCount in the instructions with the name of
your data field.

1. Click Tools from the pull-down menu bar
2. Select Mail Merge and edit your main document
3. On the Mail Merge toolbar, click the Insert Merge Field button
4. Select TransCount
5. Press the spacebar after the <<TransCount>> field
6. Type "transaction" in the main document
7. Click the Insert Word Field button and choose If...Then...Else....
8. Select TransCount in the Field Name dropdown list,
9. Choose Equal To in the Comparison dropdown list
10.Type 1 in the Compare To field (Leave the Insert This Text field
blank.)
11.In the last field, Otherwise Insert This Text, enter the letter "s"
12.Click OK

Now, when you run your mail merge, the If...Then...Else... field will
return nothing when the value in TransCount is 1, so the phrase in the
merge document will appear as "1 transaction." In all other cases, the
field will return the letter "s" which turns "transaction" into
"transactions."

en dan mag je ff zelf zoeken in word zelf

hehe.. soms is het formuleren van een goede zoekopdracht moeilijker dan het daadwerkelijke probleem...
