Message unsafe removal drive while ripping DVD

Hi,

I have a problem with decrypting a DVD using DVDdecrypter. When I decrypt a DVD it sometimes stops at a certain point. Always at the same point. It just stops and says that the drive is not ready. A couple of seconds later windows gives the warning that I unplugged my drive and even my cd burner is gone from my system. I have to restart windowds to have them back again. This also happens when I use DVD Shrink.
The drive is a NEC 1300 and is a master on the second IDE channel, the cd burner is a Plextor and is a slave on the second IDE channel. OS is Windows 2000.
Any ideas what goes wrong?

Het mag hier allemaal in het Nederlands. =)

Ik had precies hetzelfde toen ik m'n brander van IDE1 naar IDE2 verplaatste.
Het makkelijkste is misschien even je branders uit de hardwarelijst te verwijderen en weer opnieuw te installeren. Want anders blijft windows maar denken dat je drive weg is.
