UT2003 server opzetten

Ik heb net UT2003 gekocht, en werkt perfect. Online gamen gaat ook zonder problemen. Nu wil ik samen met een vriend die het spel ook heeft online spelen. Dus ik een game maken, hij vind me zelfs in de server lijst, maar als hij naar me wilt connecten blijft het zwarte scherm gewoon staan met connect naar IP.....


Zo ver ik weet moet alleen port 7777 TCP open, of nog meer?

Servers behind a NAT gateway/firewall/router

If you're running a server behind a firewall or NAT gateway, you will need to open some ports in order to allow outside clients to connect to your server. The default ports are 7777, 7778, 7787, 7788, 28900, 28902. I am currently unsure whether these are TCP, UDP or both.

You will also need to find the [IpDrv.MasterServerUplink] part in UT2003.ini and set ServerBehindNAT to True.

Unless you've altered the ports (for example, in the "multiple servers" bit above) then these ports should be all you need.

Zeer waarschijnlijk lukt het hem nu wel om te connecten.
