Bron: http://www.infosyncworld.com/news/n/3997.htmlT-Mobile confirm the presence of an integrated VGA digital camera to complement the out-of-the-box MMS capability. Users will also be treated to tri-band 900/ 1800/1900 MHz GSM and the latest Microsoft platform, Windows Mobile 2003. Furthermore, all this will be presented on a newly-refreshed 16-bit display. Just like the original MDA, the MDA II also features GPRS capability.
T-Mobile now also announce that the MDA II, as it has been branded, will run on a 400 MHz X-Scale processor, rather than the 206 MHz StrongARM of the original MDA. The RAM has also been upped: 128 MB is available for users, which is a dramatic increase over the 32 MB in the original MDA.
Of perhaps the most interest to power-users will be the addition of Bluetooth, which enables the use of headsets and wireless communication with other devices. The original MDA did not support SDIO, leaving users with no ability to add third-party wireless solutions either. Thankfully, the MDA II should support SDIO peripherals. The operator also dropped hints about accessories such as the NaviGate BlueKit, a Bluetooth GPS navigation system.
Helaas wordt de MDA II niet in Nederland uitgebracht, maar wel bij onze Oosterburen. Het lijkt me geen probleem om het toestel in een Duitse webshop te kopen.
