[speedfan] elke keer anders of niet

Op mijn computer

- Asus A7N8X (Deluxe) rev 2.0 (XP2600+)
- Maxtor 6Y080P0 (80,0GB)

Doet speedfan telkens iets anders. Soms start ie op vindt ie helemaal niks, gisteren kon ik nog de snelheid van de fans automatisch aan laten passen, doet ie nu weer niet. Hij reageert op dit moment wel op de CPUfan handmatige instelling, maar de casefan (die op de "casefan" - CHA_FAN1 - aanlsuiting op het moederbord zit) is bijvoorbeeld weer niet te regelen (terwijl die volgens mij gisteren wel reageerde).
Ik heb ook de andere fanaansluiting op het moederbord aangelsoten op de PSU (Enermax EG365AX-VE(G) )

Dat met die SMBussen die busy zijn, dat lijkt me niet de bedoeling, maar wat veroorzaakt dat nou? Mijn moederbord is voor zover ik kan terugvinden in de info van SF volledig ondersteund

update: op dit moment reageert ie weer op autoinstelling alleen die casefan (CHA_FAN1) reageert nergens op

op de site van speedfan ( www.almico.com/speedfan ) :
"The main question regards SuperIO detection. First I chose to enable it as an option, but, till now, I've received no report about any problem related with it and so I've chosen to enable it by default. There is a command line option (/NOSUPERIO) to disable it, just in case :-)

In jouw opstartdisplay de lijn :

blijkbaar zijn een aantal features onbekend, en vraagt het prog daardoor dit te rapporteren... Misschien is via command line uitzetten van die optie wel de oplossing...

Hmm commandline optie maakt niks uit, heb wel een report verstuurd met de opmerking dat ik alleen de CPUfan kan wijzigen

Heb je toevallig nog een ander programma geïnstalleerd staan die werkt met die SMBussen? Een driver of service van het mobo, wat je al geïnstalleerd hebt. Of heb je ook nog MBM actief staan?
Lijkt mij dat er nog een programma is die die SMBussen probeert uit te lezen.

of is er een ander proggie wat de fans kan controlen?

Vragen als dit kun je rustig prive stellen, laat liever ouwe in de sloot...
