Like many others I installed the great game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
After playing it for a while i noticed my ping going up frequently (every few seconds) to the max (999+). I use the same connection and (when it's not going up) have the same ping as my friends in the neighborhood. First I thought it was my system so installed it onto my other. Same problem here. Still laggy as hell. When I try to ping a website/server from windows everything looks fine. No interruptions and nice results. I followed the advice from others here in the forum. They suggested turning of Punkbuster and/or change the "/rate" ingame to 25000 (in stead of 5000).
None of this worked. I tried it on 3 different systems now.
All sugestions are welcome..
